Residence of Prince Miloš
While inquiring into the past and famous people in Serbian history, grade 5 students visited the Residence of Prince Miloš on Thursday, 10 February. The Residence was built in 1831 in Topčider Park in Belgrade, according to the wishes of Prince Miloš. This museum shows the turbulent history of Serbs under the Ottoman occupation and their yearning for independence. Through exhibits, the museum shows the cultural and social changes and the transition of a society from the Oriental to the European civilization.
