Workshop „Dinar – our money”

Grade 3 students visited the Visitor Centre of the National Bank of Serbia on Tuesday 29^th January.

This is an educational and exhibition centre with the standing exhibition “Money in the Territory of Serbia – from its first appearance until today” and accompanying themed exhibitions and interactive educational activities.

While there, they attended a workshop „Dinar – our money” whose aim is to introduce children to the role and tasks of the National Bank of Serbia, the only institution authorized to issue our currency – dinar. Through this workshop, the students also how our currency got its name, the history of dinar and the currency in circulation.
