On the trail of Russia
On Tuesday, 21st January, the students from the orienteering club visited the landmarks that embody the friendship between Russia and Serbia. Our guide took them on the tour of the Russian House where they visited the exhibition commemorating the anniversary of the Battle of Lenningrad in the Marble Hall. The Library is always a pleasant place exuding the tranquility that only books can provide. The magnificent room is decorated by a big Christmas tree and an exhibition of Russian contemporary art. Our student, Aleksandar, took the students to the second pont of the orienteering tour, the monument to Romanoff and then to the Russian Church, a wonderful and lavish building situated behind the Church of St. Mark. He also had the responsibility of recording our tour by taking photos and turning them into a collage!
