On-line Security

During the last week in December, the students of grades 5, 6, 7 and 9 attended the lectures on the children’s safety on the Internet and the use of new technologies in general.

The lectures were delivered by an expert in the field, Mrs. Katarina Jonev. Mrs. Jonev has many years of experience in educating children and parents about the possible dangers of using the Internet and social media and networks.

The students got familiar with the benefits of the Internet and the use of new technologies, as well as the darker side, i.e. the many risks they need to be aware of in order to recognize them on time. The lectures were interactive and illustrated with numerous real-life examples to help children better understand and take the topic seriously.

The school will continue to educate students on on-line safety and the use of modern technology.
