BEAVER Competition
In the past two weeks our school hosted an international competition in computer and information literacy for students in 3rd-8th grades.
The competition was organized for the first time in Lithuania in 2004, and so far in more than fifty countries around the world. It is organized on two levels, school and republic, and it is designed to develop students’ algorithmic way of thinking, logical problem solving, proper use of information technology and its impact on society.
Our students achieved excellent results in all categories, being among 50,000 candidates from all over Serbia, and we hope that they will further popularize computer science among their classmates. We congratulate our students for achieving great results in this competition and the special praise goes to students Andrej Nesterenko, Ognjen Srzentić and Luka Janković who qualified for the next, republican, level.
