60 years since receiving the Nobel Prize

Our High School students celebrated 60 years since Ivo Andrić won the Nobel Prize for Literature. We read the Ivo Andrić’s speech at the Nobel Banquet and then we explored the history of the Nobel Prize, the language in which the speech was delivered, what our Nobel laureate and his wife, Milica Babić, were wearing, whether the protocol was complied with, how the local people greeted Ivo Andrić and how he used the Prize money.
