Last Thursday, our students Petar Tolimir and Aleksandar Vasilić received the 1% Foundation Award in recognition of their participation in international scientific competitions and exhibitions during the current school year. This prestigious award is presented once a year with the aim of bringing together the most outstanding young researchers from various fields and, in doing so, highlighting the promising future of science. Petar was awarded in recognition of the four medals he has earned in recent year at international Olympiads in geography, physics, and biology, while Aleksandar received the award for his achievements in biology and physics at the StemCo competition. Both students stated that it was a great honour to be selected to attend this event and expressed their gratitude to the Foundation for the nomination and for its continued support of their further scientific endeavours.
