Fencing in Rudjer Boskovic’s time
Our dear guest in the fourth and second grade, on Wednesday 27th December, was Andrej Kubicek, a sociologist but also a fervent swordsman. The students were really interested to see, “touch” and try the swords from Rudjer Boskovic’s time. The teacher has walked us through a brief history, showed us some books and talked about the etymology of the English word origin. At the end of the class, some students were truly amazed how much the teacher knows abut fencing.
